After a very cold day on Wednesday with wind chills in the 30s, temperatures rebound nicely for the end of the week.

The holiday weekend will be warm, with temperatures in the 70s for many on Saturday. It may even approach 80 degrees across the interior urban corridor and CT River Valley. There is a slight chance of a shower or a storm Saturday afternoon, but nothing widespread or severe is expected. Sunday looks very pleasant with highs in the mid to upper 60s and abundant sunshine.
