A massive winter storm is on the way that will produce significant snow and ice.

Light snow will accumulate to an inch or two for much of the state from 10PM to 6AM tonight into tomorrow morning.
Light Snow on the Way for New Year's Eve
A winter system will impact the region Tuesday of next week, with rain/snow likely through CT.  No need for hype, but school and travel impacts are possible with a track similar to the European model.
Latest Breakdown of Winter Weather Early Next Week
Showers will continue on and off through midday Monday. Unseasonably cold weather will follow for late Monday through Wednesday with a chance of flurries Tuesday!
Forecast Update Monday 11/10/25
Timing out the rain and the wind expected on Thursday! The peak of the storm will be roughly 3PM to 9PM with heavy rainfall and gusty winds likely. The storm moves out by midnight and we are left for a partly sunny and breezy day for Friday.

💨 WINDS: NE gusts 30 to 45 mph with highest gusts along the shoreline approaching 50 mph.
🌊 COASTAL FLOODING: Moderate flooding especially during the Monday AM tide cycle. 1.5’ to 2.5’ above mean tide levels.
🔌 POWER OUTAGES: Scattered outages statewide.
⏰ TIMING: Periods of rain begin between 12PM and 2PM Sunday. It becomes breezier as the day goes on. Peak storm comes 9PM Sunday through 9AM Monday. Showers taper off Monday afternoon. Partly sunny by Tuesday morning.
