Highs have reached the middle 60s across CT as of 3:30PM Monday. Latest observations below:

Mild temperatures appear likely to hang around with lots of 50s and 60s through the next several days away from the immediate shoreline. Sensors show Long Island Sound temperatures are still right around 40 degrees, so the water has a significant cooling effect. This is the time of year the beaches can be at least 10 to 15 degrees colder than a few miles inland.
The pattern thus far this March has been mild, with storms taking a warm “inland” track and a general zonal flow. For those asking if we will see snow in the near future, it does not look likely through the foreseeable future. This warm pattern looks here to stay – at least for the next couple of weeks.
