Timing details are coming into better focus for our Tuesday evening thru Wednesday midday storm. Thinking rain/wind is primary threat in CT. Watching the colder GFS solution (see photo), but feel rapid dig of Northern vort is a bit exaggerated. This aggressive vort dig is crucial in helping to develop the secondary coastal low south of Long Island, but a more tame mid level evolution would result in a majority rain event, as on the Euro and Canadian models. Worth watching, but would lean warmer Euro solution. Keep tuned into the CT Weather Center as we move closer to this event for timely updates.
