The forecast team wanted to note that several reports were received over the last few days of icy spots in the morning due to freezing of runoff from the excessive rainfall experience on Monday. Icing in the same areas could be a theme through the next few mornings as the freeze/thaw cycle will continue, with colder overnight temperatures moving in, especially Thursday night.

A huge part of our initiative this year has been to build a communication pathway with the public to get more live reports of conditions occurring across CT.
