Goal

The Connecticut Weather Center strives to provide accurate weather information to the public and the many institutions.

Our mission is to provide this information to schools, organizations, newspapers, radio, television, and other forms of public media, so that the facts about past, current and future weather events are conveyed in the most timely and accurate way possible.

It is of the utmost importance that crisis information be made available to the public in time of need.

The Connecticut Weather Center strives to fulfill this responsibility and views this as the number one priority.
